Pizza is one of my favorite street foods. I started my first job as a Pizza Baker. How To Make The Best Homemade Pizza Recipe

When I make pizza at home, I have complete control over the quality and freshness of the ingredients. Homemade pizza is healthier than market pizza because you can use fresh tomatoes instead of canned tomatoes, the freshest herbs, and high-quality cheeses. You can choose your toppings and create special combinations that may not be available by traditional delivery options.

How to Make the Best Pizza Dough

Flour: Most Pizza Bakers use 00 flour to make their dough.
It is a finely ground Italian flour and it is commonly used in the preparation of pasta and pizza dough. Grind sizes in Italy and other parts of Europe range from double zero to two. The finest grind is double zero.

Activate the Yeast: I use Kron Jäst’s fresh Swedish Yeast or you can choose the instant dry Yeast too. When I use this yeast, I get the best results. Both yeasts are working excellent for dough.
You only need one standard packet of yeast for this recipe.

What Is the Difference Between Active Dry and Instant Yeast?
Both active dry yeast and instant yeast are used to help in the rise of bread in the oven, resulting in a fluffy interior. The main difference between active dry yeast and instant yeast is that active dry yeast must be dissolved or “activated” in water before it can be mixed into the dry ingredients used to make bread. However, instant yeast can be added directly to the mixture.

Water: I used warm water, around 100-110°F in this pizza dough recipe. Anything above 130°F will kill the yeast. If you want to reduce rise time, use warm water, otherwise you can use normal tap water.

Extra virgin olive oil: A couple of tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil adds a wonderful flavor to the dough.

Salt: Add the salt to the necessary flavor.

Sugar: Sugar helps to activate the yeast and tenderizes the dough, especially when combined with a little olive oil.

Cornmeal: You can use cornmeal only to dust the pizza pan. Cornmeal adds flavor and freshness to the pizza crust.
